One of the things I love most about helping people buy a home is watching their confidence grow.
When we first meet, many buyers are nervous.
They worry about their credit.
They worry about their savings.
They worry they'll ask the "wrong" questions.
And one of the biggest concerns I hear is,
"I don't think I have enough money to buy a home."
Sometimes they're convinced they need a 20% down payment before they can even think about buying.
The truth is, every buyer's journey is different.
Some people have been saving for years.
Some are just getting started.
Some may qualify for programs they didn't even know existed.
That's why I always tell people the same thing:
Don't decide you can't buy a home until you've had a conversation with someone who can help you explore your options.
You don't have to know every loan program.
You don't have to understand every type of down payment assistance.
You don't have to know where to begin.
That's my job.
One of the things I enjoy most is sitting down with buyers, listening to their goals, and helping them take the next step—whether that's buying next month or simply creating a plan for the future.
Not every conversation ends with someone buying a home right away.
Sometimes it ends with a checklist.
Sometimes it ends with a savings plan.
Sometimes it's simply the reassurance that they're closer than they thought.
And that's okay.
Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make.
It shouldn't feel overwhelming.
It should feel exciting.
If you've been thinking about buying a home but aren't sure where to start, I'd love to have that conversation with you.
No pressure.
No obligation.
Just honest answers and a plan that fits your goals.
Recently, Jane wrote a fantastic article explaining one of the biggest myths in homeownership—whether you really need a 20% down payment to buy a home.
If you've been wondering about that yourself, I encourage you to read it.
It may answer questions you didn't even know you had.

If, after reading it, you'd like to talk about your own situation, I'm here when you're ready.
Because sometimes all it takes is one conversation to realize homeownership may be closer than you think.
